It takes a Village! Meet the team...

 A note from Ericka:

"I am sorry this is how we are meeting and that you have to endure the trauma as to why you are choosing a coach. There is hope. I want you to know a little about me and my hope is you will pray about this choice and have God guide you in all your decisions. 

First and foremost I am a daughter of The High King. God has blessed me to be a momma to two adventurous outdoor boys who are in their elementary years, and I am so grateful to homeschool them. 

I am currently parenting in a way I never thought I would; as a single mom. For me, this came through years of the trauma, pain, hardships, and difficulties which can come with being a betrayed partner.

 Betrayal is not a road to walk alone, and I want you to know I have already begun praying for you. God laid it upon my heart to help other women through this season of life. 

Our stories are what connect us. “Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other’s troubles” Galatians 6:2 TPT. If you have been betrayed by your partner, I was once in your shoes, we are just at different spots in our healing journey. 

The possibility of dancing and praising God in the storm is achievable and I can attest to it. 

I am currently in the process of obtaining multiple certifications.

Before God called me to become a coach I was a Registered Nurse for over 10 years."

Carly experienced a 12 year marriage with intimacy betrayal.  She spent 3 of those years focused on betrayal trauma recovery. 

Carly participated in support groups, one on one coaching and a recovery program with her husband.  Though the marriage was irreconcilable, the journey of healing and growth was vital and life giving. 

Carly has gained new insights into the heartache of this world, the faithfulness of God, and the necessity of community. 

She also learned a deep appreciation for her unique personhood grounded in truth.  

She is passionate about standing with women in wisdom and empathy as they walk through their own heartache towards peace, freedom, and joy.

We help our clients to love God, themselves, and others...well. 

You are not alone in your struggles if you read Love God, Self, & Others is "the greatest command" and wonder how this is possible when we live in this world of hurt, pain, disappointment, and those we love do not make it easy. 

Most of us also have had a LOT of confusion about what it means "to love". 

And many of my clients have been "loving" in a way that is not Biblical.

• "Loving" others by excusing bad behavior or enabling
• Allowing selves to be "walked over" in the name of "submission"
• Living in shame or self-condemnation (Self-Hatred)
• Hiding from God because of lies that we have to be "good enough" believing his love is conditional and love needs to be earned
• Failing to set Boundaries because of beliefs that Christians need to "Say Yes" to "all things" in the name of Love. 

This list goes on....

In my work, two of the biggest lies, painful, and most destructive lies,  is that God hates divorce MORE then He hates a woman (or man's) heart being broken by chronic sinful, unloving behavior (in which there is unwillingness to do the long-term work necessary for healing and change)..

And secondly, that if there is betrayal, including deceptive pornography (or other addictions), it is the woman's fault....

And while we ALL play a role in the relationships that we are in, If you have been betrayed, it is NOT your fault! 

There is NOTHING that we can do (or not do) to be responsible for another person's sinful, abusive, deceptive, or inappropriate behavior.
